Nation Publishing Company Limited awarded the contract to produce the
Official Publications for ICC CWC 2007

The
leading media house in Barbados, The Nation Publishing Company
Limited – has been awarded the contract to produce
the
Official Publications for ICC Cricket World Cup 2007.
This exclusive publishing licence means the Nation has become the
newest signatory to the CWC 2007 Licensing & Merchandising
Programme. They will be responsible for producing: The Official
Souvenir Brochure (Pre-Tournament Guide); The Official Match Day
Programmes; The Official Commemorative Book and The Official Score
Cards.
ICC CWC 2007 Commercial Manager, Stephen Price, In welcoming the Nation
to the Cricket World Cup family, noted, “The signing of this
agreement proves that Caribbean companies have the capability to
compete in the global market at a high standard. He further stated, "We
are excited about The Nation's inclusion in the Licensing &
Merchandising programme and we look forward to working with them to
mutual satisfaction and success."
President and Editor-in-Chief of The Nation Publishing Company Limited,
Harold Hoyte, stated that this is a momentous occasion in the history
of The Nation; an opportunity to make a statement on the global
landscape. "It is exciting for The Nation Publishing Company and its
partners to be awarded this licence and to be associated with the most
significant event to be held in this region, ICC Cricket World Cup
2007. Our team worked assiduously to prepare our bid document,
confident that we stood a chance," he said.
